macromedia flash sitedesign:
I created a movie file in flash 8 and published the document with the html file
publish settings for plugin detection and to center my movie in the middle of
the html page which worked fine. But I am now using Flash cs3 and taking
advantage of the new code for plug-in detection. I have put the same publish
settings from 8 to cs3 but the document shows at the top left corner in Firefox
and goes to the alternate page in IE to download the plugin. Can anyone help
me out, is anyone experiencing the same problems?

Yikes, I am having the same problem where my Flash CS3 Html pages
will not stay centered. Once on the internet, the html page shows up
on the upper left hand corner or lower right hand corner.

What I have been doing is placing my graphics at the bottom right hand
corner of my html page, which is not the correct way of designing a Flash web
page.

When I upload the website to the internet, the html page is centered, but only
for my 24 inch monitor. When I go to a 17 inch monitor my html pages
are once again off centered.

Did you ever figure out how to fix this problem? I would love to know
the action script code.

Thanks,
Franchelle
