Flash obscures my Spry menu drop-downs... Inserted a Flash movie into my
DreamWeaver CS3 page that has the Spry Horizontal Menu.

Now the drop down menus appear behind the Flash movie when using a Windows
browser (works fine on Mac), rendering them useless.... I'm sort of lost now.

try this...

publish your flash movie with the setting for window mode equal to
opaque or transparent... in flash 6, publish settings->html->window mode

this will put an additional parameter in the object/embed tags like
wmode=transparent
