macromedia jrun flash remoting:
My company recently upgraded new server hardware and Coldfusion MX 7 software.
We use JRun4 then Coldfusion MX 7 on top. It is not default setup in that the
JRun and Coldfusion application servers are on a different Partition than C:\
Is this why Flash Remoting Gateway is not working correctly for JRun for the
otherwise default installation???

I have tried entering the http://localhost:8000/flashservices/gateway, I get
the page cannot be found error.
I have looked in the
'F:\Jrun\servers\cfusion\cfusion-ear\cfusion-war\WEB-INF\web.xml' file and the
nodes look correct comparing to other examples from the web.

I noticed on the
http://www.macromedia.com/support/flashremoting//ts/documents/jrun-fr-checklist.
htm, this question:
- Does the flashgateway.ear file exist in the {Server.RootDir}\lib
folder?
I cannot find this file anywhere on the JRun folder or subfolders.

I am wondering if I download the Flash Remoting for Java, and (re)install on
the JRun server, if this will correct the problem?
I have worked on this for two days without any real progress.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

A lot has changed with FlashRemoting in CFMX 7. You might want to read through
the following section in the documentation:

http://livedocs.macromedia.com/coldfusion/7/htmldocs/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/
wwhelp.htm?context=ColdFusion_Documentation&file=00001477.htm

The HotFix2 download fixed my Flash Remoting Gateway problem.
