I am trying to download the HTML simulator for i-mode from this link:
https://www.nttdocomo.co.jp/imode_sim/dl.html

Cant seem to understand a thing here. DO they have an English Website?

I entered my name and email address to download and the download starts but
abruptly ends in the nmiddle.
Is anyone facing same problem?

ok, I was able to download the installer. BUT i ran into another problem.

When I run a HTML file generated by flash using "Flash Only" html template.
The simulator gives me the following error:

==<Start to check HTML syntax>==
Warning:<<embed embed>> tag is can not use
Error:An inaccurate character sequence [classid] exists in <OBJECT>.
Error:Invalid TYPE option in <OBJECT>.
Error:DATA option in <OBJECT> tag is not found.
==<HTML syntax check completed>==

Somy question is, do we have to use a seperate HTML wrapper for i-mode
devices? In MX2004 professional, I didnt see any HTML template for Mobile
Devices.

Is there a place from where i can download device specific templates?

Thanks.

I tried the same, and got the same errors. However if I did what I do on my
symbian OS phone and just use the swf directly, everything works just fine.
Are you sure that you actually need to embed it in HTML at all?

thats a cool little application.

Yes I am also able to run the SWF's but was wondering how to implement cHTML
based content and Embed a SWF file within it.

For now I think I will have to go with running SWF files alone.

Yes its very nice Emulator, I liked it too. I am tyring my hands on somethings
to take part in MM Contest ;)

hey, so I played around for a bit, and changed things based on the errors it
spit out. here is what eventually worked for me. note that the file name is
in the data paramter of the object tag (who knew!).

if you want, you can also try the page I set up in your emu by using the
following URL: http://www.infinitumdesign.com/mobile/aquan.html now how to
focu input on the swf, I have no idea.

<object id="aquan" DATA="aquan.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash">
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<param name="bgcolor" value="#000000" />
</object>
