Seeming as now XP SP2 blocks most pop ups, Flash ads are everywhere.
Are they the main source of revenue for macromedia? The advertisers?
Because now there are so many flash ads that you can't turn off. At all.
They used to include a close button, but no more.

Hi, I have a c++ win app (using Dev Studio 5) that I would like to embed flash
movies into.
My App is an .ocx win app, but I need to add Flash movie playing capability if
possible.
My source data is some raw mpeg files, and also the same mpegs built into some
flash projectors.

Stop a Looping .SWF

Hi I have a whole bunch of .swf which is on a default loop when I play them.
How can I upload them to a server without them looping??
I only have the .swf's and not the .fla's so I cant redo them :(

After downloading the latest upgrade to the Flash Player, I can no longer play
files from the Disney Channel through AOL using Netscape 7.1. I am getting
messages that Safari cannot find the Server. I never request Safari, but that

I am using Firefox 1.0 with Flash Player 7 on linux, and I am still having
problems with A/V sync.
I am using ALSA with OSS emulation.
Here is my audio card from lspci:

Just installed FireFox 1.0 on Windows 2003 Server. No flash enabled sites
appear to work - including Macromedia's own homepage - tells me I may be
'missing some components' to view the site correctly. In FireFox's
about:plugins, I see the Flash player and 'swf' as enabled. Is there a fix? ... more >>

hi, its been a week or two now. I can not get flash to install for some reason.
I oticed the problem when at purevolume.com the music page i listen to had
pictures not loading with little squares containing colored trinagle, square,
