macromedia players flash : Help!!!

This has come up a few times recently, and I know the Flash Player team
lead is looking into an identical escalation. He's out today so I won't
be able to find out what he knows until next week.

Have you also recently updated to Windows XP Sp2??

In one case I was able to solve this for another customer like this:
"Sounds and Audio Devices" Control Panel, the Sound Recording device was
set to "modem 0 lineplayback".

Changing this setting back to "Creative Sound Blaster PCI" SOLVED THE
SOUND PROBLEM!!!!

So you might look at that..

Well, we don't have word on this from Engineering yet. So I'm still not
