I am trying to access a web page and I come up with this message:

Macromedia Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation.

The following local application on your computer or network:

E:\Publish..........................swf
is trying to communicate with this Internet-enabled location:
E:\Publish.........................htm

To let this application communicate with the Internet, click Settings. you
must restart the application after changing your settings.

I have an option of clicking OK or Settings...

I click on Settings - and nothing happens. Can someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
help me out - I'm desparate...thanks a bunch for your help!

have a fablous day!

This error cracks me up. I can't figure out how to fix it yet. The funny
thing is I started getting the error after upgrading to Flash Player 8, but the
error shows up when I open the Adobe Bridge Center! It seems the Bridge Center
tries to access an Adobe rss feed and Macromedia blocks it! How do you like
that for a merger :)

By the way, when I click Settings, Firefox opens to a Macromedia site where I
can change my global Flash Player Settings. Still can't quite set up the
security so the error stops coming up. Nice one Macromedia ;)

This link should take you directly to the Settings Manager utility where you
can add the path that you want to trust.
