When installing macromedia flash player 8 i keep getting the error "Error 1904.
Module C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\Flash8.ocx failed to register.

Hi,
I use the latest version of Firefox, and until a few weeks ago I was running
it okay with the flash plugin. Then I went to download a later version of
the flash plugin.
When I tried to run install_flash_player.exe, it ran for a second and then

We have an application hosted on a central server. The Flash content is
distributed to branch offices and called from the central server with the
following path: file://C:/Browser/Content/smartassist/media/' where
name='smartass.guidestep.url.

There's no sound playing on Flashplayer 8.0. No sounds in flash movies, games
or music in background during slideshows. I have already tried reinstalling

I've uninstalled flashplayer... reinstalled it... uninstalled firefox...
reinstalled a newer version and i keep getting the same error.
"The QuickTime Plug-in requires QuickTime System extention version 5 or later"
Quicktime is gone.... comepletly, using the uninstaller.

Having deployed Flash Player 8 to thousands of desktops using SMS, users are
now getting popups to upgrade to a newer version. Not only do I not want this,
but they don't have rights to upgrade anyway. How do I disable this behavior??

command line of /qb. This works find on Windows XP workstations, but errors
