macromedia players flash : Flash Crashing Windows

I have just recently installed an Asrock 939dual-sata2 motherboard in my
computer and I believe it is having problems with flash player as nothing else
crashes my machine and prime95 runs for days without problems. I narrowed this
down by trial and error and found that lots of embedded flash files make my
machine crash hard, no blue screen, just straight to my motherboard's boot
screen. I have found that if I uninstall flash I do not get any crashes where
previously I would have, such as google video and, one of my test sites, the
Formula 51 home page. I have also found that not all embedded flash files cause
my machine to crash, such as the Flash Tub section of www.somethingawful.com. I
don't know if this is a problem with flash player or with my motherboard's
drivers, but it's really frustrating.

I hope someone might be able to help me here too. I belive I've narrowed my
issue down to the different Macromedia players. Whenever I'm on a site, Yahoo
fantasy sports to be specific, eventually my computer will simply lock up.
This has already caused one of my hard drives to crash. I can view other sites
that do not contain this content. In fact, I was trying to install\update my
installations right on the macromedia website, and my computer locked up. I am
running WindowsXP SP2. Any help that anyone can provide would be great! This
is getting very frustrating and I can't afford to loose another hard drive.
