macromedia players flash : Flash, Simpleviewer 1.7, and Firefox

I know, I'm not alone...
I use simpleviewer 1.7 as a huge part of my website. As of right now, I'm
having some pretty odd and debilitating problems. Some of my flash plays with
no problems while other sections do not give me anything.
For instance, this part of my website works perfectly fine:
http://www.ouatphotography.com/portrait.html
while this part forces me to the error window
http://www.ouatphotography.com/karen/karen.html
(the error window is this if it doesn't send you there automatically like it
does for me)
http://www.ouatphotography.com/karen/upgrade.html
I've uninstalled the known problem causing extensions (adblock), and I've
installed flash 8.0 like 15 times, to no avail. The code in these pages is
essentially the same, except for the html. On the first page, the flash is
nested into a table while in the second, the flash is the entire page. The
flash code is exactly the same, only the images and the preferences text file
are different.
Why is there such an issue with flash 8.0 and Firefox 1.5? This is
frustrating...............................
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, TIA.

the javascript in karen.html seems to be buggy, doesn´t return the right
flashplayer version..
portrait.html doesn´t have a javascript, so you´re not redirected to the
error page
