Have flashplayer 8.0 and am trying to play an flv file. ( flashplaer video file). I click on the flv video file, Flashplayer 8.0 screen stays blank and nothing happens.

That is a problem. Apparently it only plays swf files. We wrote a little program to play the flv files ourselves. If you want it, e-mail it to me and I will send it to you.
