macromedia players flash : FLASH PLAYER DOWNLOAD PROBLEMS ...

I accidently deleted Macromedia Flash Player from my computer while deleting
other adwares. Upon realizing this, I attempted to re-download the application.
When I clicked "Install Now", the next page appeared, but no Security Warning.
I searched for manual ways to install it, but it wasn't working. The "install
completed" flash did not show either, for obvious reasons that it is not on my
computer. However, I still have some files left from the program. Do you think
you could send me just the setup or help me out? Thanks.

Hi. I had the same problem and finally gave up on fixing it and just did a
restore back to the day before I had installted the adaware program that
started this whole mess. The flashplayer works just fine now.

:confused;
I too cannot download Flash Player. Can someone here please tell me what the
problem is? I get to the site to download and it never completes. I never see
the " Installation complettion movie or the text saying the download was
successful.
I tried to restore my computer to an earlier date but evidently the date
wasn't early enough and I can't seem to restore it any further back. I am
rather a newboie so all the help I can get I appreciate.
I have no idea how the original lash Player ever got deleted or whatever
happened to it. Thnaks.

Each of you should go through the troublshooting steps here:

http://www.macromedia.com/support/flashplayer/ (look under 'i have
trouble installing flash player'

There isn't usually one answer for this (unless you all have the same
spyware or adware blocking flash...)

It's also helpful to read this technote on common Flash Player install
issues:

I have Windows XP SP2. I had followed all fixes listed in this forum having to
do with Flashplayer not installing. Lastly I deleted the registry entry placed
by spyware software. This allowed me to install the player, yet I could not
view anything. Your "check your installation" page shows I do have Shockwave,
but for Flashplayer I receive a box with a red placemarker.

After reading this thread, I checked the entire system for any extras, turned
off Norton, turned off popup blockers, disabled everything, and ignored the
screensaver idea, since I do not have a screensaver. Still the player didn't
work. Then I realized I DO have the Weather Channel desktop program. Once I
closed that, your test page works fine.

Do you have Apple Quick Time installed? I am having problems with Quick Time
interfering with my Flash player. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both
players and it still does not work. I also went to the Quick Time preferences
and unchecked the Flash player, but that did not make 1 bit of difference.

Just thought I would share my experience for now.

Write if you have any ideas.
