macromedia players flash : Can I disable autoplay?

I'm using Flash 7, Firefox 1.0, and Zone Alarm SS 5.5. ZA's been good about
blocking pop-up ads and animations in the past, but with advertisers using
Flash these days, I'm getting an awful lot of ads ZA doesn't seem to detect.

Is there a way to force the Play or Loop selections to be unchecked by
default, so I can play only the animations I want played? I'd still get ads,
but at least they wouldn't be so, er, Flashy.

Help!

Unfortunately, from an end-user perspective, there's now way for you to
control what's in that menu. And advertisers know this and make sure
you can't disable what they don't want you to disable. It's
unfortunate.. But I suppose that's the nature of a market economy.. :(
