Flash Player stops working in IE

I have two home computers. Both use: Windows XP Home with SP2. I use MSN for my
ISP. I have Flash 7 player installed on both machines. Both machines share the
same internet connection over a wireless network. My security settings are the

Ok I have been having this problem for the past couple of months. I recently
formatted my harddrive and reinstalled all my data. I updated all my XP files
including SP2, and reinstalled the flash player. All my drivers are up to date,

Grey box on some web sites

I'm having trouble seeing all of the content on some web sites. I'm using
Flash Player 7.0.25 under mozilla 1.6 running on Linux 9. For example when I

i have done every conceivable thing to make flash download, my controls enable
activex and i have tried to disable all our pop up blockers and norton
antivirus but whenever i click download flash player, it goes to the next page

can anyone recommend a good freeware program for windows in regards to checking memory consumption with flash SWFs and/or projectors client-side? windows task manager on xp pro, i've heard, does not give an accurate picture. i wish flash had the memory capabilities of director. i mean what's an easy... more >>

After almost two months, I have finally left my IE Flash problems behind...I
simply typed "Regsvr32 vbscript.dll" in the "Run" command, and now Flash is
back to normal on all websites from IE. Thanks all!

Easier access to public Web Service

Luckily this wasn't something I had already published or I'd really be crying
the blues. I have a Flash Pro movie that yanks up data from my web service.
The service resides on a nameless machine and is accessed by IP right now.

When SWF files are saved locally, the will not run.
This issue started occurring recently and may be related to an IE security
update three weeks ago.
