macromedia players flash : Easier access to public Web Service

Luckily this wasn't something I had already published or I'd really be crying
the blues. I have a Flash Pro movie that yanks up data from my web service.
The service resides on a nameless machine and is accessed by IP right now.
It's a different machine from the one publishing my movie for me. It won't
bring up data because of the new restrictions for allowScriptAccess and
'always' doesn't fix it. I'd like not to add more complexity to my server with
a proxy and don't want to use the shim method to have my nameless server
serving up the movie. Does anyone have some inside info on what I can pass for
allowScriptAccess to get this to work again? Thanks in advance, Pat

Replying to my own message. I see it's been locked down and not disabled.
Found crossdomain.xml from a page posted elsewhere in these
