just wanted to know if is it plan to add support for ogg in FlashPlayer ?

I'll second that.

Why isn't there natural support for the ogg compressed format sounds?
They make better sense for sound effect clips because they don't suffer the
silent doorstep which mp3 sound clips have.

The flash player has code in it to do the quick fade in at the start of the
mp3 .. its a deliberate 'feature'. If MM did add ogg, then that doesn't nec
mean they will have the fade in at start or not.

Support for .ogg would be a nice feature, the quality and compression of .ogg
is better than mp3.

... and it would make my life much easier, otherwise I'll have to write a
browser plug-in for .ogg myself.
