Somehow I have deactivated flash so that it will not run in... IE, Maxton,
Avant, Mozilla or Firefox
It WILL run in Yahoo messenger and stand-alone flash players.
I most likely did a registry edit (win98se) or something with spybot or a
similar tinkering type program.

I am having some issues with a .mp3 file I imported in flash. I have used the
same file in aother flash file and it worked fine but in this flash file it did
not. When you publish the sound sort of has an echo like you are listening to

Whenever I attempt to download the Flashplayer plugin and run the install
instructions I always get the following error FlashPlayer is incompatable with
your architecture (x86_64). I am currently running FC 3 x86_64. What is the

hi, when i go to macromedia.com, (or many other sites) it says you need the
flash plugin, but the link on this site gives a 5/26/2004 i386 binary, even
though my browsers user agent string clearly states x86_64. actually its been

player is needed for online training. Rather than run around installing flash

Techno-ignorant here, using Windows XP SP2, and I recently upgraded my browser
from Mozilla Firefox 1.0.2, which displayed Flash perfectly, to FF 1.0.3, which
doesn't seem to render Flash at all, at least not with my Norton Personal
Firewall 2005 set to the highest security settings.

I am trying to open a site that uses Flash. I have previously installed Flash
Player, don't know what version. When opening the link on the particular site

haven't put a sniffer to work yet but that's my next step...everything is local
(i.e. nothing from a remote site, except for codebase attributes, etc. for MM),

1- I get a propted to install the activex for Flash7 and install it.
2 - Then I reopen the browser and I get the prompt again.
3 - I've done all the things listed on the Flash support page.

I was able to get Flash 7 to install fine, no errors were ever returned. After
the trouble started I tried rebooting, uninstalling and cleaning up all temp
folders and reinstalling, I also tried updating windows and the driver for my
