Hi friends, I have a problem with flash player versions 7 and 6.0.r79. When I
install flash player and connect internet pages that have flash elements my
windows XP restart or block PC always. I have last drivers graphic Card (nvidia
Geforce FX 5500 and last updates windows XP SP2. My browser is Internet
Explorer 6.0.29

This problem I have had with other Operative Systems win98 and win2000 too,
and other graphic card (nvidia TNT2 model 64M 32MB).

I hope that you help me.
Thanks friends.

I had this same problem on a particular Dell. Seemed to be font
related. Reinstalling the OS would fix it for awhile, but it would
always come back.

It's an unusual problem, and difficult to solve. I wouldn't worry about
the graphics card or drivers. I'd worry about fonts and then possibly
connected items such as maybe graphics tablets..

We are currently having this same problem, however it has become much more
widespread and pronounced. We have 50 desktops (Windows 2000 Pro) and those
that have been upgraded to Flash player 7 (6 systems) are experiencing this
problem. At different times while browsing the system will reboot.

I have re-installed OS (w/SP4 and all updates) on two of these systems and
they are stable until I install Flash player 7. Then the rebooting problems
begin. The systems will reboot consistently on Flash content, but also at
seemingly non Flash sites. There are no related error messages in the event
log.

This has become a pronounced problem causing considerable loss of
productivity. Hence I am forced to remove Flash player from these systems. I
would recommend that Macromedia follow through on this problem. Feel free to
contact me for more information.
