Last week, I installed the Macromedia Studio 8 package. Now, in Firefox I am
getting a popup box entitled "Macromedia Flash Player Security" whenever I
access the Macromedia website or communitymx.com. the sidebar setup I have set
up in my browser window for communitymx.com will not function. The message
states "Macromedia Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation ...
the following local applicaiton on your computer of network:
jar:file:\\\C:\Documents and Settings\...l\cmxtra.swf is trying to communicate
with this internet-enabled location: www.communitymx.com. I have repeatedly
changed my settings and restarted my computer, to no avail. Any suggestions?

My suggestions is to check out the Top 3 Flash Player TechNotes. This one
should help you:

i had this problem too:

Go Here:

http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_man
ager04.html

Using the console on 'their' site. browse to the folder where you the location
of the file/folder is that the other file is trying to connect to. Restart
application. This is strange becaseu you actually change it on macromedia's
site as opposed to your computer.

It has to do with the fact that some Flash content that you download to your
computer might try to use older security rules to communicate with the Internet.

You can specify what Flash content on your computer may always use the older
security rules by adding the location of the content to the Security panel.
After you add a location on your computer to the Security panel, content in
that location is trusted. Flash Player won't ask you for permission and will be
always allowed to use the older security rules

Hope this helps. :)
