Try make it in PowerPoint first, then turn it into a smaller .swf file
which you can post online easy:

I am designing a website for a client, I have programmed an automatic photo
slideshow on the homepage and in the portraits and weddings gallery. I
programmed the movie to load the images externally with the loadMovie command
and then it resizes and positions the photos in the viewing area. It works
fine on Windows IE but it does not work correctly on a Macintosh (IE) or
Mozilla Firefox. On the MAC and Firefox it works intermittently. Please help.

FLASH Player 8 does`n play the files as Flash Player 7

We are programming files that are not reading as the same file with Flash Player 8.

Change to Flash Player 7 again and you will see it works OK....... But, ....
That is a big problem for every programmer.
Do we have to tell users not to install Flash Player 8, because does not play
the files as Flash Player 7 ???

I'm having the same frustrating problem as you guys. I have found no solution,
but will post it if I figure anything out. For now, I am having to send
fscommands to the page and load the slides into a div instead. That's a real
drag.

Hey, I've found a great workaround. Drag a TextArea onto the stage - disable
editing and enable html for it. Name it whatever you like - I called it
'slideArea'. On the first frame of your movie, add these 2 lines to make the
TextArea background color and borders transparent:

_global.styles.TextArea.setStyle("disabledColor", "none");
_global.styles.TextArea.setStyle("borderStyle", "none");

Okay, then you just load the swf's or jpg's in dynamically with img tags - in
my code, it looks similar to this:

_level0.slideArea.text = "<img src='" + mySlide + "' width='" + _root.myWidth
+ "' height='" + _root.myHeight + "'>";

It work perfectly for Mac or PC, IE or Firefox 1.0.7.
