macromedia players flash : video no sound

Install the K-Lite codec pack, free download, (search Google) Be sure to
download the "full" version, and then run the "Codec Tweak Tool"

Start > Programs > K-Lite Codec Pack > Configuration > Codec Tweak Tool

Then check the box next to [Registry] Fix non-working system sound

It should fix the problem (Did for several of us)[b]Text[/b]:grin;

same problem for me. But I use Mac OS X.

This K-lite thingy is for Windows.

No workee for me. I've tried every single recommendation on this board, and Flash 9 doesn't work for me in any browser.

I have the same problem. I'm using Windows XP SP2 with all updates and IE7.
Installed Flash Player 9 tons trying different things and still no sound on any
movie and numerous websites. Any more suggestions?

There are a lot of solutions on

4&threadid=1175007&enterthread=y thread that have worked for people with
different Flash audio problems.

One solution that worked for a lot of people involved tweaking the registry,
another solution involved sound card drivers, and yet another involved Global
Flash settings. Maybe your solution is here too:
