Lots of times I play a streaming video at this site
http://media.games.ign.com/articles/693/693580/vid_1719332.html and
Flash9.oxc crashes IE7!

Anyone else have this issue? I have uninstalled and reinstalled Flash. It
crashes a few mins into the video. It crashes with both Beta and non Beta Flash
9 versions.

This seems to happen at randoms times.:mad;

Its not just IE7. I have been getting the flash9.ocx crash for a while. I did
upgrade versions so that instead of running 9.0.16.0 I am now running
9.0.21.75. It stopped the crashes for about 3 days. There is another thread on
this, actually a few. The problem comes with any website that requires you to
run flash 9 from what I can see. I made a bug report on this while ago and am
still waiting on a response.

Hopefully they will fix this soon!

Actually, if you read the above post I made, the update doesn't fix it. Give it
a couple of days, it will be back.

I only know this because I fix computers for a living, and we have seen a lot
of this so far, and it even happens on my own machine. The crash "feature"
seems to be a problem for a lot of people. IE 6, 7, Opera, Safari and even
Mozilla. It doesn't seem to be operating system based either. I cannot get it
to work at all the the Mozilla browser on Slackware or Fedora Core 64, OS 10x
using Safari doesn't like it (I haven't tried another browser here yet, and
Windows XP and any browser you like have issues.

I think if I see the flash9.ocx has crashed message, I will just cry.

I didn't have a problem with the flash when i had IE 6 but now having IE 7 I'm
getting exhausted of looking for a solution to the problem. I might as well go
back to IE 6 if I cannot find a solution to the flash player. I JUST want to
watch the videos on youtuvbe!!
