macromedia players flash: I'm trying to get the distributable files for a computer network here, but the
link returned in the process goes to a "Page Not Found". Any other
administrator out there having that problem? Maybe I'll just remove the Flash
ActiveX control and be done with it, it would be one less piece of misery to be
kept up to date.

Flash has caused me just enough grief that the display of moving ads, games
and other internet detritus is just not worth the upkeep. If users want to see
that content, they can do it from home.

:disgust; Same here, today. And that was after doing a new sign up (my old
registration was about 1 year old). What is even worse is that there seems to
be no (findable) page where I could just login with my adobe/macromedia account
and do the downloads.

I have reported the brand new "personalized" link to their "broken link" form,
but no response yet.

Really, it is quite embarassing for a Web-authoring-tool manufacturer to be
unable to keep their own links to their own site working!
