How can I disable Flash Player in my firefox 2.0 browser temporary?
I don't mean uninstall.
Some web pages are horrible to visit with flash player. For these pages I
wound like to disable flash player but how?

Pardon for my bad English it is only a foreign language for me.
Best regards
Philipp

Since you use Firefox, try the Flashblock extension:
http://flashblock.mozdev.org/
This will let you click and choose which Flash animations you wish to see, and
you can also pick domains from which Flash should not be blocked by default.

Correction: MOST web pages with Flash content are horrible! :)
In most cases, there simply is no excuse for web content authors to make
access to their sites dependent on proprietary plugins, but they're simply
incompetent and ignorant. There are very few exeptions where Flash could be the
most appropriate solution to an actual, real design problem.

9000/785; en-US; rv:1.7.13) Gecko/20060601)

now i can use the internet at work without a bunch of dating sites sending me
pictures of people i don't want to meet

all i need now is one to block on ie
