After installing Flash Player 9.0.28.0 my copy of Netscape 7.2 crashed repeatedly when encountering a flash file.

I had to uninstall it to use my browser.

Thank you for your suggestion. I did find the older version 8 on the Adobe site.

For now either change to another browser, or uninstall and get download and
install an older version of Flash Player until Adobe makes another FP9
release that (one hopes) will correct the problem. Try one of the more
popular browsers like IE or FireFox.

Hopefully Adobe will get the Netscape problems fixed in a subsequent
version.
