macromedia players flash : Uninstalling Previous Versions

I have just installed the newest version of Flash Player 9.x and still have a
previous version of Macromedia Flash Player 6.x and Adobe Flash Player 9.x on
my system that I would like to remove without removing the most recent version
I just updated to and would like some help on this issue as the two previous
versions I suppose are no longer needed and are in the terms of (Secunia)
software Inspector are unsecure to leave on my system and they have more or
less sent me here to have this issue resolved.
I would like to remove these two previous versions without removing the newest
if possible. Have tried updating these with no luck or maybe I don't even need
them at all .

:frown; I have exactly the same problem as Barb0205. Advised by Secunia, I
have successfully downloaded Adobe Flash Player 9.0.28.0, but am still left
with the "Unsafe" Macromedia Flash Player 7.0.14.0 and cannot find out how to
uninstall it. Any advice would be very welcome.

Planham ! I finally got a hold of someone at customer service and they told me
to go ahead and delete the previous versions that this would take care of that.
Just to be safe I created a restore point first to make sure things would be
safe if I needed to go back . So far everything seems to be fine. Just make
sure you go to the correct location to remove these files in Windows as
(Secunia) should point you to the correct location in Windows Explorer. Then I
went ahead and did another scan afterwards . :wink;
