macromedia players flash: I would be grateful for your comments in relation to what should be a simple
task. I have tried accessing a couple of websites and was greeted with a text
only version of the relevant website and a message indicating that I do not
have a flash player installed.
I am at a loss as to why I am getting this message as to my belief I have not
made any system wide changes lately. I have done what I can to amend the
security levels and have the activesrcipt enabled etc but when I attempt to
download a flash player I do not get the yellow gold bar one usually gets and
the animation box remains empty.

I do hope someone can be of assistance.

Cheers

Colin

The adobe staff apparently don't care about this.

Given that it would seem this has been a problem for a while now may I ask how you have overcome this issue.

Cheers

Go to soft32 .com and download a mirror of adobe player. I was having the same
problems. You download the player from that website instead of adobe. Hence
bypassing all the problems. I have it now. Works great!
