I'd really like to see an official message from Adobe concerning the issue
with Flash9b.ocx crashing in IE. Surely they must have received a lot of
messages from disgruntled users.

each and every update-nagging auto-running splash-screening focus-grabbing
pieces of SH|T.
i DON'T want facking flash asking me to update with a splash screen hiding my
entire desktop on boot. flash is the LEAST gaddamn important program i run, so
shut it the fack up.

I was prompted to download the latest flash player. I downloaded and installed
it and it did not work so I went into Add Remove to remove it. I evidently
removed the original flash player that came with my computer by mistake because

Dear all,
I just installed an updat for the flash player and now I get a pop up error
'could not find the file "flash.ocx" about every 15 minutes. When I checked if
my flash player works, everything seems ok.
any suggestions on how to get rid of the error pop ups?

I was about to pull my hair out. Everything that I tried did not seem to work.
I even had the technicians of my virus protection/firewall to help behind the
scenes. And then I contacted Adobe for technical support who ended up

I just receieved my computer back from the shop and everything works

Secundia Inspector scan on my pc and found old versions of flash player so I
used uninstall_flash_player.exe to remove all old versions. I had 8 of them.
