Hi all,
As you're probably more than aware of, we are, as developers, in a transition
phase from AS2 to AS3 and FP8 to FP9. I am well aware of the great new features

Anyone ever install Adobe Flash Player 9.0 and it says it's installed, shows up
as enabled on "manage add-ons", but websties say "need to install Flash Player
8.0", and I can't view vids, etc. I'm using IE 7. I've tried just about
everything, including deleting from Registry per the Adobe do... more >>

When loading a 11.025hz MP3 file using the Sound object of AS3, the value of
the 'Sound.length' property isn't correct... ONLY while the sound is loading.
When the Sound is fully loaded, the 'Sound.length' property is gives the
correct value.

I had been using Flash in all of my browsers on my iMac with no problems, when
suddenly I got no sound on YouTube. A few checks showed that I now have no
sound in Flash on any of my four browsers with any flash content. I've deleted,
reinstalled, and tried every setting that I can find. No dic... more >>

this is the error i get when installing with the larger
install_flash_player_active_x.msi. i cannot install with the adobe website and
for some reason flash 9 works on other usernames on this computer... i have
administrative privaledges so i cannot figure out why this wont work.

When I download the new Flash Player, everything appears to be OK, files appear
to be in the correct place and registry looks fine. The only problem I can
find is when I go to C:/WINDOWS/Downloaded Program Files, right-click to look

Hi all
This is driving me totally crazy. The Flash 9 download will not work for me
as I see it won't for quite a few others, I just get an empty rectangle where
the flash animation should be and nothing else. No gold bar, no security

Found this!! and it works!
I just reinstalled my system with XP SP2 and found that sound in Macromedia
Flash player (version 9) wasn?t working. I compared it to another machine and
found out that - for some obscure reason - the wavemapper mapping was missing.

Hi. I've installed flash player several times and it used to work but recently
every page I go to tells me I need to install flash player. I go to the the
adobe sites --click the download and it tells me it's successfully installed
