Hi Ive been having a problem for about a week opening flash files ( I have some
flash games saved that will not open) they are all .swf files and if I click
them I get a message showing windows cannot open the file as it doesnt know who

Upon visiting a site that requires Flash, Safari brins up the 'Plugin not
found' dialog and then forwards me to the Macromedia Flash Download page. The
page does not recognize my browser, but even when I manually download the Mac

Add me to the list... IE and Firefox 1.5 keep bombing out. Seriously annoying!
It's been happening for a few weeks? Months? It's intermittent but has
gotten worse with the new flash versions. Anyone know what version of flash is
safe??

Big problem.
We currently develop in Flash 7, but are viewing the applications on Flash 8
player.
( We are trying to appropriate Flash 8 and use it, but it is taking a while
because of beaurocracy.)

I come from Slovakia. I have a problem with the Security in Flash Player 8.
I make my diploma work. I want to have it on CD and demonstrate on a PC, that
is not conect on Internet.
Because this I can not use the "Global Security Settings Panel" which is only

This is exactly my problem, but sadly not the solution. I have removed all
traces of Macromedia from my computer with the uninstaller and by brute force,
but I still can't install FP8. I run into the same problem you had, but I don't
have two copies of flash player shown in add/remove programs... more >>
