We are currently writting documention within our product which refers to
Macromedia Flash files. My concern is whether Flash will be Macromedia Flash or
Adobe Flash in the future, or should we simply say Flash instead?

Trying to play a swf in a web page using flash.
It plays fine, but throws an IE error.
The error is: "A runtime error has occurred. Do you wish to debug? Line 0,
Error: Object expected"
Debugger shows the following function to be the culprit "audioLoadingStart( )".

I recently purchased an iMac (with Intel) and the Adobe CS2 Suite with Studio
8. I just today got around to installing the Flash programs and now Safari

I posted this reply on another thread. Basically if your IE 6 is crashing all
of a sudden ensure you go to the Macromedia download page to get the flash
player and ensure you put a check beside Yahoo Toolbar. For some reason it says

Hi.
I live on my own, so when I visit my mom wuring holidays and weekends, I use
my younger sibling's computers. Only there's a problem - for some reason, Flash
8 has stopped working on my sisters PC. I have used before on her oC, but then

I'm having some trouble with Flash in Firefox. On EVERY site using flash, I
get an "illegal opation in plugin" box. Sometimes the Flash content will
display, usually it will display after hitting the refresh button five or ten

I became a high speed internet user 2 days ago and had very little problems
before then. ISP said I had to install Flash player to fully receive all
graphics, etc. - I did and then it kills internet explorer. I can be online

Why do things created with macromedia Flash always suck? They take too long to
load, they are not clear, they blink all the time. They don't scroll right.
They are too small. 99% of the time the information could be shown in a simple
text file. Why do developers do this?

Problem With Linux Using Linked Font Symbols

I had a Flash site set up to use linked font symbols, but discovered that these
fonts did not display in the Linux Flash player (Windows and Mac worked fine).
When I switched back to embedded fonts, it began working again. Has anyone else
experienced this? Know a work around?
