Posted by muddypebble at 2/14/2006 11:40:15 PM
We are currently writting documention within our product which refers to Macromedia Flash files. My concern is whether Flash will be Macromedia Flash or Adobe Flash in the future, or should we simply say Flash instead? If Adobe completely gets rid of the Macromedia brand, how will the links ...more >>

I recently purchased an iMac (with Intel) and the Adobe CS2 Suite with Studio 8. I posted this reply on another thread. Basically if your IE 6 is crashing all of a sudden ensure you go to the Macromedia download page to get the flash player and ensure you put a check beside Yahoo Toolbar. For some reason it says you do not need it to run the Flash Player properly, but thi...more >>

Flash! Linux! Firefox! NOW, DAMNIT!
Posted by Bushido Hacks at 2/10/2006 1:48:20 AM
Sorry for such harsh words, but you guys at Macromedia have let us Linux users down. I too am a software developer. Though I don't know Flash as well as I know C, I do not that it doesn't take four months for someone to tell you to release a stable port of software that already exists, espe...more >>

Why do things created wth Flash Always Suck
Posted by rquestion at 2/8/2006 4:56:07 PM
Why do things created with macromedia Flash always suck? They take too long to load, they are not clear, they blink all the time. They don't scroll right. They are too small. 99% of the time the information could be shown in a simple text file. Why do developers do this? If I'm wro...more >>
