bjes (?) on 12/06 suggested that. I tried it, but Flash.ocx (?) wasn't listed.
It seems to me that the last time i was there, there were two lists; this
time the window for choosing lists had only one 'option'.

P.S. I have the Yahoo toolbar on IE, but not on ME, so that isn't MY problem.

Hi all,
I am having the same problem with the systems at my company. We have about
200 on XP Pro SP2 and the rest are on Windows 2000 SP4. So far I have only
encountered the problem on the XP systems. If you can't see the plug-in when
going to Tools / Manage Add-ons, go to the same window and there is a drop down
list. If you change it from "Add-ons currently loaded in Internet Explorer" to
"Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer" the Flash8.ocx file is
listed. The name is shown as "Shockwave Flash Object" and the File is shown as
"Flash8.ocx". Could anyone test if disabling this plug-in will actually fix
the problem. Also on a side note when I select the plug-in the "Update
ActiveX" button is disabled (greyed out).
