macromedia players flash : Trouble counting to EIGHT?

Gees .. will you guys stop the winging and the smart-aleck message. It is
achieving nothing.

MM are working on Flash Player 8.5 for you so you won't remain a version
behind. It is a big job to port it. It makes no sense for them (or for
you) to spend time on FP8 porting when it would have to all be redone again
for FP8.5 (either make 8.5 release delayed further for everyone or resulting
in Linux users staying a version behind everyone else again and resulting in
more sarcastic emails like yours).

Also, I doubt that Flash Player 8 not being out for Linux yet is costing
much in sales at all .. Linux is a VERY small market.

Because couting is ever so hard for you guys at Macromedia who are working on
the Linux version of Flash Player, here is a reminder of how to count to 8 with
the help of Sesame Street's Count Von Count:
http://www.sfgate.com/c/pictures/2002/02/04/dd_goodman1.jpg
The count is inavertedly pointing at the number 8!

Now count with me here? 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. We (Linux users) want flash
version 8, ha ha ha! *lightening flickers and thunder claps*

Giving us another version of version 7 is yet again the shorter version for
the ASCII middle finger. Releasing it on Pi Day (March 14) is like give
everyone who knows how to count to 8 and want's flash version 8 the double duce.

To top that off, there is still no official release of your product for the
PSP system either which basically says "We don't care about anyone except
Windows and Mac users" and entices the open-souce developers to encourage DIY
versions of your products.

You guys are losing sales from your most important customers: people like you
who like to program this stuff.
