I've been having this same problem as long as i've had a computer. When I click
the download button, no security window pops up and nothing downloads, it just
switches to the next web page saying it's been downloaded but no flash stuff
works. I've searched the computer and found a macromed folder with a flash
folder in it, but no real programs, just a get Flash button and some other non
importants. What the hecks goin on?!:mad;:confused;

I have windows 98SE. New hardrive...I cannot download macromedia flash player
either. I click on download....there is no picture, just a blank box with an x
in the top left corner. No text and no movie and nothing to let me know if
download was successful or not. I can't play msn video highlights without this
program.

I have the same problem and thought it was me but the more I think about it,
It's the web site maybe it's a way for them to get us to buy, really they don't
give out free things. The sad thing is we can't watch news clips. :(

OMG i'm a genius and i fixed it heres what you do!!!!!!.....
On you browser go to "tools" then click "manage add ons" flash player 8 will
be listed and probably say blocked.. mine did so i simply unblocked it then re
downloaded it and it worked like a charm!! yay for the simple minded non
computer geniuses who figure stuff out on accident!! lol

I cant download either when I goto download via the button on the main page at
www.adobe.com that says "Get adobe flash player" it takes me to this web page

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFl
ash&promoid=BIOW

and then it says this :

<!-- [DEBUG] YOUR REQUEST HASH - edcf4f5637222254489de107b0f7cc4b --><!--
[DEBUG] User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; Win 9x 4.90;

Can anyone please tell me what is causing me not to be able to get the link to
work for me? Ive tried adjusting my security settings and active x options to
