I have downloaded the flash player many times. Ive even uninstalled it and
reinstalled it to see if that would work and it didnt. I am trying to play a
game and it says i need the flash play and gives me a website to go to to
download it- your website. I download it- acording to the page- and it still
wont work!?! Im starting to get mad because it worked last week and now it
wont! What do i do?

i'm having these issues too. i've built two new computers here, and both are
identical except one uses an intel pentium D, and the other uses an athlon64
x2. its the amd i'm having issues with. i can download and install flash
player, but it doesnt function. then IE still thinks the plugin is not
installed and always wants to install it (message bar at the top of the window
with a small blue icon.) i've uninstalled and reinstalled flash player and it
still doesnt work. IE 6 is using all default security and privacy settings.
there are no firewalls. the intel machine here works just fine. both machines
are xp pro SP2 with all updates. i sure hope we get a reply for this. its
annoying when a plugin doesnt work. there's no tech support to email or call,
yet so many websites use flash now.

Are you using XP Home or Pro?
Are multiple users on the computer?
Is flash being intalled by user with Administerative priviliges?

Hey I have the same problem, and I have Windows XP. I have just noticed that
when I'm on the adobe website test page it works, but when I go to another page
it says please download. What does the adobe website have that the other sites
don't .
