I have Windows XP, SP2, Beta, and my flash doesn't work. I just realized that
when I go to the test page on adobe, it works. The picture shows up, and it
tells me I have version 8. When I go to another website outside of adobe, it
says please download. I have downloaded this 50 times, and deleted and
downloaded again. Why does this seems to work while on adobe site, but once I'm
on another site it doesn't even seem like its downloaded at all? I just want to
play games on MSN again. :( Please help!

I just posted because I wasn't sure if someone else had this same problem,
especially considering your "subject" line. But I read it, cuz you said HEY
READ THIS! LOL and I guess we are all having the same type of problem.

My post is at the top about the continuous download of Flash Player.

It's never ending - keeps asking me, I keep downloading, I keep rebooting, and
it still doesn't play a Flash page.

Mine doesn't work on ANY page, including Adobe!

Hi All!
I have spent the last 3 weeks trying to solve the same problem.....I FOUND OUT
HOW TO FIX THE FLASHPLAYER! Don't bother

with the newest version...Too many bugs, and will not work with Firefox. You
need to redownload the original player

(#6),,,Almost ALL games, etc will play.....Here is the link to download
Macromedia Flash Player 6....

Good Luck! It worked for me, and this is the first time in weeks that I have
been able to play my games!!

So you're saying delete the version that a Flash page always wants you to
download? and find an OLD version of Flash Player?

Because I've downloaded literally dozens of times.

Hi Everyone...

Okay....Forget all the technical stuff.....Just redownload macromedia
flashplayer 6...It is the old version that came with most of our computers. It
was what was working before you downloaded the newest version. You don't have
to do anything else. The address to find the old version#6 is:

This same conversation is actually going on in another thread! :D And racer is
right - just download 6 and it should work. Mine did! Ah...............it's
great to have my Flash pages back! Thank you very much.
