Uninstall with uninstaller 3.0.0.17, then reinstall, as in this technote:

I also have the same problem. I have Flash 9.x installed. The test on the Adobe
page works fine. ABCfamily.go.com prompts me to install Flash. I have
uninstalled with uninstaller 3.0.0.17 and reinstalled, rebooting between each
step.

I am also having a similar problem...although my computer is divided into two
users. The Flash Player 9 works for one of the users - doesn't for the other.
Both are identified as administrators and both are set-up exactly the same.

I have uninstalled an re-installed many times..but I can't get the flash
player 9 to work on the other user. I have followed all the instructions Mr.
Wolfe has listed in the various forum categories which pertain to this
problem....nothing seems to work.
