1. Website is messed up. 2. Internet connection has slowed down for some reason. 3. Video card messed up (don't know much about this). 4. The website sometimes gets the video for you from another place. That place may be messed up.
Do you have a lot of programs running at startup? Go to start>run>msconfig>startup tab. See if those things look right. Then try running Spybot Search & Destroy. Sometimes spyware will slow everything down.
You have to install them, so you would know if you have them. An anonymizer is supposed to hide your identity so your surfing cannot be traced back to you. I don't think it's foolproof. The Virtual Private Network service encrypts everything so it is a lot harder for a hacker to read your wireless transmissions at wireless hotspots. Both of these items are in between you and the website, and the extra stopover slows things down somewhat. I think that's how they work.
I was just remembering some things about DSL. The speed can vary depending on how far you are from the phone company. If you are at the outer reaches, which I think is three miles, they will tell you that the signal can get weaker. They will tell you that speed is not guaranteed. Are you perhaps used to cable?
You seem to have all the ingredients. I am at a loss. I am by no means an expert and I watch very few videos because they don't work correctly half of the time. I have noticed that. But to never work right, I don't know. There may be several formats. Do you need Quicktime or Real or something?
I can't find the discussion now, but someone said that the video sites are overloaded and taking forever to download. Too many visitors wanting large files. The popular videos have become large with comments.
