macromedia players flash: I have tried for months off and on to get flash player 9 to download. I never
noticed this forum though I have been to this site many times. I finally can
download my pictures from my digital video camera! I followed the advise I read
here and went to filehippo.com. When the latest version didn't download I went
back and downloaded version 7 instead of the latest greatest and it worked! I
read somwhere that downloading earlier versions sometimes works, but it is not
offered at adobe.com. There you go!

I am also trying constantly to download Flash Player 9. I took the advice
here and went to FileHippo and downloaded it
there. I go to install it and I get a Pop-Up blocker from ADOBE, of all
people, saying I don't have the latest version and I should go to their
website and get it. Duh, that's what I've been trying to do for about a week!
Of course, I try again from their site and its
the same old story.
I took your advice and went back to FileHippo but I couldn't find Flash 7 even
after a search. I really need this player soon
because I'm in Asia trying to watch the baseball playoffs with MLB.TV.
Somehow, I lost my Flashplayer last week and have been trying like mad to get
it back.

I did a Google search for Flashplayer 7 and came up with a few options.
If you try a couple of them, you might find one that will install.
After throwing darts in the dark, I finally landed a player that would
download. I have Macromedia flash player 8 installed now and I'm back
running like
before all this mess started.
