I have same problem. I am trying to install from behind corporate network
firewall. Took my computer home, plugged in and it installed fine. I think it
has to do with firewall not allowing anonymus authentication to adobe to take
place. Big problem for me since all of my users will be behind firewall. Can
adobe make it available as a download rather than auto install?

We already have that available via the Free player licensing program. Visit
here:
http://www.adobe.com/licensing/

The form there will get your company access to the bits to distribute on your
intranet.

Get the following message when trying to install Flash 9:-
Unable to authenticate installer......

Any ideas to resolve this issue.

Case ref 172567723 raised.[/q]

Thanks for doing that. Unfortunately the system won't let me look at the notes
of your case because of your GEO location. :( (a new wrinkle I wasn't aware
of...)

I'll check with the EMEA team to see how it's going. Feel free to Private
Message me the details if you like..

I had the same error message when trying to install Flash 9 player.

I was able to fix this issue by uninstalling the Creative Suite I had recently
installed, reboot, and installed the Flash 9 Player.

Now I have to install CS again. :(

I had this problem, and resolved it by setting my computer's time and
date correctly. (start -> control panel -> date and time)

The date time note above worked. Even though I had the correct dat and time I opened the Date and Time Properties window clicked okay and the flash page immediately continued with the end of the install sayin flash sucessfully installed.
