macromedia players flash: [b]Text[/b]For the last 2 months I cant get any FREE games on Shockwave.com to
work. All I get when I click on on a game is a black box with no
advertisement playing. If I click on the box All I get is "responding" in red
appears, in the upper left hand corner. I emailed Adobe and uninstalled and
Reinstalled both the flash player and the Shockwave player per instructions.
Ive checked my IE & Settings and they're at medium, still none of the games
will load! I've tested both players on the Adobe page and its shows the latest
versions of both players are installed and working! I'd appreciate any
instructions to solve what problem might be causing this problem!

Im Running Windows Xp Home, IE 7 ,32Mb Nvidia Geforce 2 MX 400 Video card. I
Didnt have this problem before. It just stared doing it. I've checked for
spyware, cleared my cookies and browser history and nothing seems to make it
work!

I am having exactly the same problem...

Please Adobe or someone, give us a real solution...

I know it is not the PC but yes something in the configuration, becasuse I
ised to play in shockwave.com

I emailed Addobe and they told that the shockwave player might have been
damaged, and to uninstall both players and delete the System 32 Macromedia
Folder. I did it several times and the problem still persists. They told me
they were unable to duplicate the problems i was getting. Im lost, I tired
about everyting that heir help page says to do, and followed the instructions
that hey sent me. I hope Somebody has some answers.

make sure you have both the flash player and shockwave player installed. that
is the only thing i can tell you. i can run a few things sometimes but it will
eventually stop working with the site like flash was uninstalled. its weird tha
after all you have done and it still dont work sounds like its a problem in how
flash gets installed. or something got corrupt.
hard to tell, flash is weird

Mac users have a few other issues with flash besides some things not working
right . flash for us is 15x slower than flash for PC (its like its being
emulated). even a old PC can perform better in flash than a faster Mac can.
even the intel Mac have this issue.

lol here is a example , take a P1 200mhz windows computer and pare it to a Mac
running a G3 466mhz cpu in OS 9 or OS X. the P1 will perform about the same if
not allot better.

I've uinstalled and reinstalled both players several tiems Madmax, and it
still doesnt help. I tested both players on the Abobe site and it showd
theyre both working! They work on outhe game sites. I dont know whats going
on and have about given up. I cant get any of the Videos on Atomfilms.com
com to run either. The Previews work, but to watch the entire clips, I get
the same bloack box with responding in it!.. I've about given up, I'll just
have do do without shockwaves free game site. It could be anything , a bug
,whatever

It Appears not Cnetter. I emailed Adobe a few months back and they told me
they cant duplicate the error is was getting. At least I know Im not the
only person having this problem. I would hope somebody more Computer savvy
than me would try figuring it , I cant do,I ve did everyting Adobe told me
to do. I can Play Shockwave player and flash player games on other websites
but not theirs!
