macromedia players flash:
:cool;

ISSUE:

Basically, what I have found on the call with a customer, is that; after
installing latest version of FP people were unable to see flash content on
websites, the installer finishes without errors, but player still dosent work.

PROBLEM:

It seems that somehow the permissions on the plugins folder were changed.

FIX:

1. Close all files and applications on the disk you want to verify or
repair.
2. Open Disk Utility, located in Applications/Utilities, and select the
disk in the left column.
3. Click First Aid.
4. Select Repair Permissions or something similar to that

OR

via the shell (Terminal) by using the command "sudo diskutil
repairPermissions /" without the quotes.

Well.. then heres a few other things to try::

http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player_
osx.dmg

run the uninstaller.. after it finishes, take a look in ~/library/internet
plug-ins folder and see if you have write permissions on it. If you do then
download and run this package

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash
&P2_Platform=MacOSX

If it still not working.. then try this solution:
