macromedia players flash : Watching Flash Movies Online

Hello All

I have a 2.5 gigahertz P4 with a gig of ram and XP SvcPk 2 with an g-force mx
440 64 MB video card.
All the flash movies that I watch online - that is real movies that have been
converted to flash, not
flash animations - are too dark. Way too dark. And muddy: no detail in the
shadows.

Is there any adjustment in the player to fix or improve this? Seriously. The
quality stinks.

Thanks!

Mike

Forgot to mention - Was using Flash 7. Dark and muddy in that; so I upgraded
to 8. Same result. So I upgraded to 9 - absolutely no difference. Why the
h*** do these people put out new versions if they cannot improve the rendering
of the images?

Just out of curiousity, why convert it to flash. I use divx and can fit a 2
hour movie with amazing sound and video on a 700MB cd (YES that's CD not dvd).
Unless you're referring to streaming video, but I assumed you were d/ling them
as you mentioned converting.

Sorry, I should have made that clearer. By watching them online, I
did mean streaming.
