Has anyone else encountered prohibitive flash player download times? I've
tried to dowload the player (9.0.28.0 IE/Firefox/Netscape/Opera) from Adobe's
website six times in the last three days, on an otherwise stable 5MB broadband

Whenever I try to view a video that is a flash file on any browser of mine I
cant get any audio. This issue has been occuring for a long time and its
getting quite frustrating as lots of sites now use flash video, such as

With the final version of the Linux flash 9 plugin I'm able to watch the first
segment of NBC.com's videos, but no other segments. Access to the other
segments is provided through a javascript link which seems to successfully
cause the flash player to try to load something, but nothing happens... more >>

is there an official version of the flash player for Vista? and more
importantly, Vista 64bit? if i install it from the adobe site i get multiple
entries in my add/remove programs list and, sometimes flash content in IE7
works, sometimes it doesnt.

I got a good comp too, amd 2x64 dual core, 1 gig ram, 60 gigs hd space. laptop
is still under store exchange warrenty, should i take it? but ive already
exchanged it once for exact same model of laptop and the old one had the same
problem.

I've uninstalled and installed flash sooooo many times,,only to have it quit
working,,,and out of sure coincidence,,,figured out it was my regestry cleaner
removing a vital regestry value,,don't know which one ,,ccleaner is ok,,it was
regscrupxp that did it,,,

Recently downloaded latest flash. Now have the error message: could not
find the file "flash.ocx". Used the flash uninstaller and removed the program
but the message continues to pop up. Did a file search and found the file in
the folder c:\i386. Deleated the file. The error message contin... more >>

a lot of the problems I had with the betas where solved with this version.

Version 7 was rock-solid on my system, but v9 is extremely buggy.
When used with firefox, it causes the entire browser to randomly shut down on
pages with flash animations.
When used with opera, it won't crash the browser, but the flash apps won't

and found the problem that I was experiencing. However, I can't open the
"Troubleshooting the system registry issue that prevent the Flash Player

I am not sure if it's related to some software installation that I performed,
but I cannot get any audio from Flash files. I use JAlbum with the FotoPlayer

Hi, I'm using Firefox and Flash Player 9.0.28.0 on WinXP. When a web page
containing flash content is open for some time the memory consumption of
firefox.exe slowly increases. Is this a issue with Firefox or Flash Player?
Does this happen with other browser/ platform?
