Hey guys, I am currently working on a project and what i'm trying to do is to
create a flash program which makes user able to record their voice from the
browser and sends the stream to a FMS server to save them, and i wonder if i
can change the recording codec with which the flash player uses for encoding
audio data to different one (example: mp3 , raw, adpcm ) instead of the
proprietary Nellymoser , or if it is the limitation of flv file?

Thanks in advance.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Does anyone ever do the same thing before?

What i want is to make sure there is a way that one can specify a audio codec
with which flash player will use to record the audio data come from the
microphone .

thanks
