I am running OS X, and I just installed flash player 9. I am not able to look
at any flash sites anymore. I have been installing, reinstalling, uninstalling
and nothing seems to work. I am not very computer saavy, but i can normally
figure these thing out. Adobe is no help at all. I feel as though I should
reinstall everything over again on my mac. Please let me know if it is possible
to fix this bug.

I am also 100% stuck trying to get flash player to work on my 800MHz iBook
running OSX 10.4.9 with everything updated. My Flash Player has worked
perfectly until I installed the latest Flash Player 9. As a Mac User for about
12 years, I have always studied my hobby obsessively, as this usually gives me
the knowledge to fix routine problems. But this one has me beaten.
I've run the wonderful ONYX program repeatedly, I've followed advice from
other users (Install under Admin account, clear the caches, reinstall the
browser, fix permisions, install in Safe boot mode, toggle the Quicktime
"enable flash" box in System Preferences)
The only thing I havn't yet done is to follow the advice given on
www.versiontracker.com that suggest REVERTING to the previous version of Flash
- because I dont have a backup of the previous version and I can't find the
previous version on the Adobe web site.
The old version is on my G5 iMac and works fine but I dont know how to port
across the individual components witth the assistance of the official flash
player installer.
Interestingly my symptoms are similar to may of the PC XP Flash problems
