OK, I have several .swf files that I am trying to run and everytime I attempt
to run them flash player wants to reinstall then reboot and this happens
everytime. I tried to change the associated file but I can't find the
apporiate .exe. I'm sorry that I don't have more but this blunt and to the
point.

If you have flash installed, try just opening the .swf files (might try while
offline so it doesnt ask to update) and when prompted for what program just use
Internet Explorer to do it. Otherwise you'll need the standalone player.
