macromedia players flash : Can't uninstall CS3 Flash Trial

I installed the CS3 Flash Trial to check it out, as one does. I now want to
uninstall it halfway through the trial. Unfortunately when I choose Flash CS3
in my "add or remove items" panel this Adobe created installer comes up. With
this installer I can remove components but not the program itself. ARH. Does
anyone know how I can do this? Am I missing something here?

I'm having the same problem. I installed the trial of Flash. Then
bought the Web Premium Suite. When installed the suite it greyed out
Flash, saying it was already installed. The Flash trial won't accept
my code from the suite and I can't get rid of it. Help please!

I finally just left all components selected to be uninstalled (even
though the main app wasn't listed) and it removed the main app
successfully.
