macromedia players flash: Hi ,
I have installed Vista business with IE7.0 and I see that the following
addon is available by default in IE7.0 "Macromedia Flash Player 6.0.79.0" . But
I know that the current version is Adobe 9.0.47.0(or above).
Can anyone let me know the addon that actually comes by default with IE7.0
in Vista?

That's correct. Vista ships with Flash Player 6 (as does XP). To get the
most recent version you have to update from
http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer.

That said, for IE7 I would recommend that instead of getting 9.0.47.0 you get
the latest beta version of Flash Player 9 Update 3 Public beta, from
labs.adobe.com.

I tried installing the beta in hopes that it would solve a problem I'm
having with IE7. Flash stops working after a few days. I uninstall
and reinstall, but it keeps failing. Anyone else having this problem?
