macromedia players flash:
I have NEVER had a problem with using any version of the flash player, and
currently have the most recent version installed. I'm using Windows XP and
have been for quite awhile. I have been trying to 'enter' a particular
website =
www.jamesdean.com and have been unable to do so. After typing in the
web address (shown above), the page starts to load and then disappears and
gives me this message: Flash Support: This site uses flash player 6; click
here to download a free player, etc. etc., and then re-enter the site. I have
done this repeatedly until I'm blue in the face. Installed, uninstalled,
re-installed, etc. NOTHING seems to work. I have friends who go to the site,
and do not have any problem! When the flash player message comes up, the
browser (if that's the right word) says:
http://www.jamesdean.com/default.htm. I would appreciate it SO much if someone could tell me WHY I'm the only one
having a problem with this particular site, when all my friends are able to
view it with the current version of the flash player and I cannot.
Thank you so much in advance for any help anyone can give me! I am totally
frustrated.
